SIN – The only and biggest threat to real life: the worst serial killer
What is the SOLUTION?
Sin is a big threat to life here on earth and beyond; Sin erodes joy, happiness, health, and stagnates progress, and causes both physical and spiritual untimely death of individuals, if unchecked.
Sin is one dangerous phenomenon everyone is involved in and with. It is the fire that is kindled by individuals and burns in everyone’s bosom regardless of status. The flames get worse with our pretenses though we can secretly acknowledge its disastrous manifestations, and never publicly accept we are its victims. Sin is a spiritual killer disease millions of people are living with and also carrying about everywhere they go. Sin is a disaster recognized. Sin is probably an unavoidable contamination condition of man once we are born on this earth planet. Invariably it means we commit sin because we are naturally, sinners.
Sin is a subtle killer without remedy, but only a few people recognise quickly the need to find a solution.
Sin is so aggressive that as soon as one is born into the world, he finds himself entangled with it and becomes bondage to it. The effect of its aggression manifests in all manner of sicknesses, diseases, and infirmities in all humans. Sin is the source of all mankind’s problems. Sin is so ‘powerful’ that humans are ‘helpless’ in the face of it. Sin is tantalizing in so much that it is ‘attractive’ to the cravings and ‘satisfaction’ of the human flesh; the natural aspirations of man are tied to and with sin.
Hopelessness
Many times people accept hopelessness in real-life adverse situations such as terminal sicknesses, conditional diseases, marriage issues, financial problems, and disobedient children. In such situations, people carry on in life with great pain and distress. The devil stamps in people’s memory that ‘there is no hope’, so they feel totally helpless; whereas there is hope and help at all times and for all issues under heaven for all humans – JESUS CHRIST.
So also, with sin – the devil has succeeded in making people feel ‘there is nothing called sin’, with his intentional subtle whisperings, and manipulations, he tells them that there are no morals, no wrong doings. His agenda is always to becloud humans that there is nothing wrong or deadly with an amoral lifestyle and make humans think there are no consequences.
But the system of organized societies proves Satan wrong because humans are put in prison for wrongdoings against society when they contravene the good laws of nations. For example, even some ‘untouchables’ in power are put behind bars for stealing or adultery. This proves the bible right that there is a concept of right and wrong, and also good and bad. The bad and wrongdoings of humans against God’s laws are what constitutes sin in summary.
The Bible says every wrongdoing (transgressions) is a sin 1 John 5: 17.
Many other people who agree that sin is real, do condemn themselves also thinking they had gone beyond the limit, so they rather die in it than believe that there is any hope and help out of the situation. But that position is only the lie of the devil – he comes to steal, kill and destroy John 10: 10. Once he steals the truth of the provision of hope and help of God, from the individual’s mind, he strikes to destroy by falsehood. Jesus calls him a liar and murderer John 8:44.
The Blood of Jesus Christ
There is a solution to man’s problems, all of which originate from sin – that solution is the Blood of Jesus, the Son of God. Sin is disobedience to God’s holy commandments and righteous morals. Sin is called various names- ungodliness, transgression, iniquity 1 John 5: 17. It exists and manifests in all human dealings, relationships, and interactions, commerce, false religions, governance, education systems, and human philosophies, and is generally approved and accepted by the world system, in the sense that all humans consciously partake in it. Romans 3: 23; Luke 16: 15.
Since sin makes humans stink and because God’s eye cannot behold sin, He made a decree against sin Habakkuk 1: 13; Ezekiel 18: 4
Nations of the world make laws for orderliness and any contravention meets punishment. Can man, therefore, question God for making laws against sin? God forbids. Holy God has his divine authority to make laws against sin than sinful man. From either or both perspectives we can agree that every wrongdoing is a sin. God is holy and men are sinful; if men seek orderliness by law-making, God desires much more
Appeals can be made through His Blood
Hebrews 9: 13 – 14. As criminals make appeals in human court for release or less punishment. We can also make appeals through repentance by the blood of Jesus for complete forgiveness and relief from punishment by God. This humble appeal can also bring a permanent cure to the physical sicknesses resulting as a consequence of sin.
Matthew 9: 13; 1 John 1: 8 – 9 Jesus says he comes to call all sinners to repentance and if they respond he is just and faithful to forgive all their sins. His Blood paid the full penalty for all sinners who will come to him for forgiveness (Eph. 1: 7)
Matt 26: 28. For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Ephesians 1: 7 in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. It is by his grace and readiness to forgive our sins when we repent, that makes us free from the pandemic of sins; sin is the worst global pandemic of all times, and there will never be any laboratory that can produce a vaccine for its cure. The only “vaccine” is the blood of Jesus, and people face imminent spiritual and physical death not to seize the opportunity to repent. Jesus says, “repent and believe the gospel” (Mark 1: 15). We are never going to be free by the good works we think we have done to people; neither by just having a form of organized and false dogmatic religion or philosophy because no good works take away sins – secret or open sins.
1 John 1: 7 – 9 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”. Jesus is that light of the world that comes to us all, if we believe and confess our sins through him alone, he offers the solution to sin problems
Hebrews 9:22 “and almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood is no remission”.
The blood of Jesus is the only price required to release the vilest offender, and it is already provided on the Cross. If you ever told a lie, you need Jesus.
1 Peter 1: 18 – 19 “Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation (character) received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot”:
1 Peter 2: 24 “who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed”. This is what he did on the Cross for the entire humanity so that everyone who desires to be saved is given the true opportunity to reconcile with our loving God through His Son Jesus Christ.
Romans 5: 12 The bible tells us that death came through the sin of one man, Adam, and forgiveness by one man, Jesus Christ. It could not have been through many ways. The world is under condemnation through sin; Jesus came to rescue humans from that condemnation John 3: 17; Romans 8: 1.
Isaiah 43: 25 “I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins”. God forgives us by . Psalm 103: 12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us by his love and mercy, not because we are good. Nevertheless, nobody is forced to accept
it; you have to make up your mind to go for it as you make up your mind to take a manufactured human vaccine or visit the clinic when you become physically sick or feel the threat of a looming disease. Sin is worse than all known diseases in the entire world. Sin kills both bodies and souls; that is how dangerous it has been. Unfortunately, millions of humans take it lightly, sin – is the grievous destroyer. It is, therefore, worth sounding the note that if you don’t accept God’s free remedy for the killer sin and die, he will ask you why you intentionally rejected such a gracious and loving opportunity; and you stand no other chance than bear the agonizing consequences of your personal regretful decision rooted on pride; God hates pride Psalm 138: 6. Your time is now to repent (2 Corinthians 6: 2.)
We have access to God through the Blood of Jesus
Ephesians 2:18 “ For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Jesus’ blood guarantees access to the heavenly Father
John 10: 9” I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture”.
Ephesians 3: 12 “In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him”
Hebrews 4: 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Jesus Christ restores our peace with God
John 14: 27 My peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. The troubled individual, families, communities, and nations can have true peace if they seek Jesus with all their hearts. Isaiah 26: 3; Jeremiah 29: 11 – 14.
Phil 4: 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus
Romans 5: 1. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; Isaiah 26: 3 says for thou would give him peace whose mind stayed on the because he trusted in thee. When our heart strays from God the devil steals our peace.
We have true Liberty in Christ without fear
There are many more benefits such as true liberty from God not from sinful men, nor from being set free in a human court of law; that does not mean being free from sin in the sight of God.
2 Corinthians 3: 17 says for the Lord is that spirit and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. The Bible says that you shall know the truth (Jesus Christ) and the truth shall set you free, and whosoever the Son of God sets free is free indeed John 8: 32, 36.
Why Jesus and not others
Jesus is the only God-Man, Man-God sent by God to the world to bring a solution to mankind’s sin problem. The scriptures below testify to the fact that Jesus is the only way. He alone, and he only died, was buried physically and rose from the dead physically and went back to heaven, with a cloud of witnesses during his time on earth. Hence Jesus told the doubting religious men of his time and till the present; to search the scriptures for the truth about him John 5: 39.
Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. God confirms Jesus as the Saviour in many places in the bible. Accordingly, if one was born into false religions or not, it is your decision to follow the bible to find the true God by Jesus Christ. Any belief on how to find God or heaven or the way to God outside the bible will fail you in a very painful way and with irreversible regrets. Hell is one way in and no way out.
John 17:3 Jesus said, and this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
John 16:28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. I and my Father are one John 10; 30
Jesus broke every barrier of sin for us.
Romans 5: 6 for when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
1 Timothy 2:5-6 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time
Romans 5: 8 But God commanded his love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ dies for our sins
Acts 4: 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved
Galatians 4: 4 – 5 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Jesus cleanses sinners and makes them the sons and daughters of God; with their names written in heaven in the lamb book of life.
2 Corinthians 5:21 for he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
All you have read is proof that only Jesus can rescue us from the devastating consequences of sin if only we repent.
John 16:30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
You and I shall be judged
Hebrews 9: 27; and as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Acts 17: 31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
John 5: 25 – 27 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; and hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. John 12: 48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
2 Corinthians 5: 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
1 Peter 4: 17; for the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
John 8: 12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
John 8: 24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins
Hebrews 2: 3 how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him. Hell (second death) is imminent without Jesus our Saviour
Do the Right thing now while you are still alive physically.
Acts 2:37-39 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.
It is disastrous and self-harm, and agonising death in HELL; to die physically in sin without asking Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins. Hell is one way in and no way out.
The sum of Peter’s answer
Believe without doubt that Jesus is the Son of God John 9: 35 – 37
Believe that Jesus is the Saviour, the Christ and Messiah of the world Luke 2: 8: 14; John 4: 25 – 26; John 4: 41 – 42.
Confess that he died for your sins on the Cross Romans 10: 9-10
Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead Matthew 28: 1 – 7
Open the door of your heart and ask Jesus to come into your heart. Revelations 3: 20
Believe his blood cleanses all sins and ask him to cleanse you of all your sins. 1 John 1: 7 Confess your sins and repent of them completely and ask him to forgive you.
Confess him to be your personal Lord and Saviour John 20: 26 – 29
Mark 1: 15 And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Matthew 9: 13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Now is there any righteous person without Christ? the answer is NO. Romans 10: 9 – 10 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Your life on earth is the only time given by God for you to choose your final destiny; choose Jesus, choose life.
Secure your life and soul now in Jesus Christ, He is the only solution to sin. Don’t delay further as you are one breathe away from eternity
